Tid: 21. juni, kl 11:30 - kl 13:00

Results from an innovative study on job-seeking among ethnic majority and minority applicants with equal qualifications reveal that ethnic minority applicants have much more difficulties in the Norwegian labour market.

  • Why is it more difficult for applicants with foreign names to get a job-interview?
  • What are the reasons for this discrimination, and how can employers and politicians improve the present situation?

Results from the study will be presented and discussed in a panel consisting of representatives from the private sector, politics and the research area of ethnic relations and migration.
